I received a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus and I am now doing my PhD in Computer Architecture at the Department of Computer Science (UCY). My research focuses on Computer Architecture and Parallel Programming Models.
I am currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Cyprus, under the guidance of Dr. Pedro Trancoso. I graduated from the University of Cyprus and received a BSc in Computer Science in 2010. Currently I am pursuing my PhD in the field of Computer Architecture with my research interests focusing on Parallel Architectures, Many-core Architectures, Parallel Programming Tools and Models, Data-Flow Programming, Automatic Parallelization and High Performance Computing (HPC).
I am also a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cyprus. I teach selected courses that have to do with programming, computer architecture and parallel processing.

I worked on the Horizon2020 Project UniServer: A Universal Micro-server Ecosystem by Exceeding the Energy and Performance Scaling Boundaries.
Researcher on Research Promotion Foundation (RPF) Project GPU Clusterware. Worked on an Intel Xeon Phi- and NVIDIA GPU-based cluster for programming and administration. I extensively used Ganglia distributed monitoring system and the Slurm resource manager.
I have tought various courses related to programming, computer architecture, and parallel programming. The classes I tought were: Advanced Computer Architecture, Advanced Parallel Processing, Introduction to Programming for Engineers and Introduction to Python Programming.
I worked on evaluating the DDM programming model and its TFlux implementation on the Cy-Tera HPC system.
I worked on the EU FP7 Project TERAFLUX where we explored Dataflow Parallelism in Teradevice Computing.
I worked as a seasonal Customer Service Office (CSO) at the Marfin Laiki Bank.
I did my military service in the National Guard of Cyprus and finished my service as a Second Lieutenant.
I am currently a PhD Candidate ath the Department of Computer Science of the University of Cyprus. I am under the supervision of Dr. Pedro Trancoso. I succesfully completed all courses required by the Master's Degree during my PhD.
I got my BSc in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus. I graduated in 2010 with a GPA of 7.18/10. My disseration title is Reducing Data Transfer Costs on the Cell/BE.
